My name is Victoria, and I am an experienced and accredited counsellor offering face-to-face counselling in Exeter. I work in quiet, comfortable rooms in a central location.  I also offer online counselling via video call.  If you are experiencing some difficulty in your life, or feeling unable to find a way forward, I can offer you a safe and confidential space to talk things through.  I can help you with most of life's issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, bereavement and trauma.  I have specialist expertise in sexual abuse counselling, working in a gentle, trauma-informed way with the impact and recovery from abuse.  I also have particular interest in women's health issues throughout life.

How I can help 

I will support you towards understanding yourself better, and finding your own ways forward.  I believe that the key to successful counselling is in establishing a trusting relationship, where you feel listened to and understood.  This can enable you to explore topics which might feel too difficult to discuss with family or friends. Counselling is most effective if we commit to meet regularly and we can think together about whether short-term or longer-term work is right for you.

Supervision
I offer counselling supervision online and in-person.  I hold the NCP-accredited Advanced Diploma in Supervision, delivered by KRCS Training in Bridgwater.  I can offer you a supportive and safe space to reflect on your work, and help you feel confident to develop your practice.
