Supervision
I offer counselling supervision online and in-person in Exeter. I hold the NCP-accredited Advanced Diploma in Supervision, delivered by KRCS Training in Bridgwater. If you are a counsellor, therapist or other caring professional, I can offer you a supportive and safe space to reflect on your work, and help you feel confident to develop your practice. I also work with organisations and agencies as an external supervisor, offering individual and/or group supervision.
I have been working as a counsellor in the voluntary sector and in private practice for many years, so I know from my own experience how important it is to find the right supervisor. I draw on a number of integrative supervision models, including the seven-eyed model of Hawkins & Shohet, and the work of Michael Carroll. The most important thing is for us to establish a trusting and robust relationship, and I am open to working in the way that best suits your needs.
I have particular expertise in working with people who have experienced sexual abuse and rape, having worked in the sexual violence sector for many years. I provide clinical supervision to counsellors and therapists in training, newly qualified or more experienced.
